I was learning to create a bar graph.

I know how to  create a bar graph.

It was tricky to get the colour on the graph because I just learnt it.

WALT: Write a book review

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE 
I like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because it is funny.
Also I like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because its not boring

I was learning to write a book review.

I can tell people if I like it or not and why.

It was easy to write a book review because I only had to do two sentence.

  I spy with my little eye something beginning with sp. A Spade, a spear, a spaceship speeding to the moon. I spy with my little eye something beginning with sp. A sparrow, a spoon, a spider web. I spy with my little eye something beginning with sp, spaghetti, spuds, and spinach, YUCK! spit! spit! spit!

I learnt the sp blend in this poem.

It was easy to find sp blend because the sp is bold.

WALT: Create a collaborative piece of Art.

I was learning to create a collaborative piece of art.

I know how to draw a collaborative art.

It was tricky to draw patterns. 

WALT: Write a recount about our holiday.

In the holidays I played Super Mario Odyssey, my favourite part was when I versed the evil bunnies. After that I played Crazy Games, I played Minecraft classic. I kept clicking on the g bar I don't know why. Then on October the 9th we went camping. When Mum and Dad was setting up the tent and we are in the car we stole some gummy bears. On October 12th we went to the pool at the camping place. After that I played Pokemon Go. October the 13 I had chocolate ice cream, my favourite flavour is Goody Goody Gum drops.

it was tricky to  upload the picture to blogger because  I just learnt how to do it.

WALT : Summarize the main idea.

I was learning to summarise the main idea in the Dragon book. Now I know how to summarise and find the main points.It was tricky to summarise because you had to add the picture to the computer.

WALT: draw a volcano

I was  learning to draw a volcano.

Now I can draw a volcano

It was tricky to draw it because the steps were hard.

Describing Autumn Leaves

This term we have been learning to describe using adjectives and similes.

Howick Historical Village

This term we went to the Howick Historical Village to see how people lived in the olden days.  I spent some time in the old schoolhouse.  It was very different 

Comparing Schools - Now and Then

Reflection:  It was kind of easy but some of them I had to think about.  I prefer school now because we can have more learning.  It was  a bit boring then.  John   W.  June 2019

Football Clinic

This term we learned how to control the soccer ball, how to kick and to play soccer with our friends.

Making Arrays

This term I have been learning to solve multiplication and Division using arrays.

Exploring Vocabulary and Language Features

Well done John, I like the way you found words of similar and opposite meaning, comparisons using like or as (similes) and recognize that words can have different meanings even if they look or sound the same.
